With support for NVIDIA® Advanced Optimus, the laptop can automatically engage its MUX Switch when a game launches, providing high performance when needed and power saving when you’re browsing the web.

NVIDIA Advanced Optimus

With NVIDIA® Advanced Optimus, the Asus TUF A16 can seamlessly route frames from the discrete GPU directly to the display via a MUX switch, bypassing the integrated graphics. This process boosts performance by 5-10% compared to systems without a MUX switch, delivering an exceptional gaming experience. Additionally, the automatic switching helps conserve battery life by dynamically shifting between the high-power discrete GPU and the energy-efficient integrated GPU.
