A wonderfully light laptop, which I use for school (running Ubuntu on it). The build quality is top-notch, with no issues. I've upgraded it to 2.5gb of ram, and I doubt I'll ever use it all. Regardless, this laptop runs very nicely on Linux, and Vista as well.
My friends also really love the laptop. The leather wrist wrap is also a hard leather, which feels almost like plastic (so don't worry about it, you'll probably like it). That's what scared me when I purchased, and I have had no regrets since I received the laptop. Also, the keyboard is wonderful for typing on.

I just got my Asus U3s a few days ago, and so far, so good! It is really light and the build quality seems top notch. No flex or creaking sounds when I pick up it with one hand by the corner, no weird gaps, no flaws in the finish. My unit did have a bright pixel, but Asus quickly took care of the issue (replaced the screen in about 2 hours- I live near the US service center.) My only complaint is that the fan is kind of annoying when the dedicated graphics are turned on. But I can live with it. Thanks for a great buying experience ExCaliberPC.com and Asus!
